License Agreement / Terms & Conditions
Parnassus software is provided under the following terms and conditions.
License Agreement
By installing and using the software, including by purchasing the software if it is a sold product, you agree to and will be bound by this license agreement, including future changes and modifications to this license agreement.
You may install the software on as many computers as you wish, so long as the software is used on only one computer at a time. Your license is non-transferrable, and may not be resold, sublicensed, leased, rented or transferred to another party in any way without prior written agreement from Parnassus OÜ. Use of the software grants NO RIGHTS to the code, software, media or other items related to this software, except as detailed in this agreement. All rights reserved by David Millington and Parnassus OÜ.
If this software is ‘free’, that is, normally available without cost, the software is not freely distributable. Give others a link to the Parnassus website, not a copy of the setup file. If this software is sold, you may only install and use the software with a valid, purchased license.
No warranty, and statement of liability
This software and associated files are offered with NO WARRANTY express or implied. The software is provided “as is” and “as available.” Parnassus does not warrant that the software will be error-free, will operate uninterrupted, will meet your requirements, or will be compatible with your system or any software or other part of it. Should the software prove defective, you will assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair, correction or other related actions.
Parnassus accepts NO RESPONSIBILITY for any damages resulting from the use of this software. Use of the software is entirely at your own risk, and to the extent provided by law, Parnassus is not liable for personal or other injury, or any special, indirect, consequential or other damages to yourself or others, your or others’ property or goods, loss or damage to profits, data, business interruption or any other commercial or personal loss or damage.
Non-compete
By installing or using this software, you agree not to create or implement a similar product, or features inspired by or similar to the features of this software in new or existing software, in whole or in part.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code or parts thereof or metadata thereof, modify, or create derivative works of the software, except as permitted by law.
Data
You agree that Parnassus OÜ may gather technical data and related information, including but not limited to information about your computer system, applications, peripherals and other related data. Parnassus may use this information, so long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you, to improve or modify the functionality of Parnassus software and services. Parnassus may use this information, including in a form that may personally identify you, for customer support and in efforts to combat piracy.
Parnassus OÜ may gather personal information including but not limited to your name, address, business, email, and other related information, for the purposes of sales, license verification, and other business-related purposes. Parnassus does not resell personal information and abides by relevant privacy regulations.
